Rescue Finder.Org is a new organization formed to assist and promote non-profit animal welfare organizations, shelters and the general public through the support and education of ethical animal welfare. One of our main goals is to build a search engine that will provide a link to rescue groups, shelters and rescue-friendly veterinarians.

Our purpose is to support animal rescue in a myriad of ways, filling as many needs of the rescue community as we possibly can. Focus will include:

animal welfare legislation

adult and youth educational projects that will include nurturing responsible pet partnership

cultivating relationships between the rescue community and animal control shelters, along with reducing kill rates while improving an animal’s experience while at a shelter

forming a non-profit rescue association that will allow rescue organizations to network, find resources, obtain funding and offer other benefits such as affordable group insurance rates.

Rescue Finder.Org is in the start-up process and currently working on obtaining exempt status from the government. It will take some time for us to become fully operational and realize our goals that we expect to be continuously evolving.
