Please inform the person you contact that you heard about their animal on Rescue Finder.Org. Thanks!
My brother and I were found abandoned at an apartment complex. Our rescuer took us to many shelters, animal control facilities and SPCAs ut none would take us in, and some offered to kill us!!!!! Yikes!
We are both neutered males, born around April 9, 2009. We have been vacinated and have tested negative for FELV and FIV. We are looking for a new home so our foster mom won’t get in trouble. Her andlord says NO ANIMALS, not even kittens as cute as us.
We are rambunctious, but, hey, we are kittens and still learning about the world. We’ll grow out of it. When we get older, we will love to cuddle. Right now, we just want to play, play, play.

Last January, Cara, a Newfoundland mix, was abandoned near a veterinarian’s office. She spent five months in a garage in Ceres, CA.
RescueFinder.Org was asked to help find Cara a home at the beginning of May. Cara's picture and description was posted in San Ramon and Livermore, CA.
On May 24th, Cara found her new home.
Rosie is estimated to have been born September 2007. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations and micro-chipped. She has been pack-socialized and has begun basic obedience training. She is believed to be a Pit Bull -- Mastiff-type mix (perhaps Dogue de Bordeaux) and is now about 90 lbs.
Rosie loves to ride in the car and play in the water. She lives to snuggle, and can’t be convinced that she isn’t a lap dog. Rosie is playful and energetic, but also knows how to mellow out. She’s not an early riser and doesn’t like to be cold so
Rosie does well with children, but doesn’t understand her size and strength yet so one needs to consider this before placing her
in a home with small children. She has not been tested with cats, but gets along well with her other pack members. She loves
when strange dogs visit with her at her home, but is a little fearful of strange dogs in strange places, and shows a bit of fear aggression.
Her foster is working with her on that.
.
Rosie is a clown at heart! One of the funniest things she does is she sits askew, and then slowly "deflates" until she is laying completely on her
back--preferably with her head under your arm and her eyes looking up adoringly at you.
